TAYLORMADE TP GOLF BALLS

TaylorMade has made a powerful reentry into the golf ball market by introducing the TP Red and TP Black models. They compliment the company’s line of Tour Preferred clubs. The goal was to design a faster and longer golf ball that would appeal to both the Tour pro and the amateur player alike. After three and a half years they feel the goal has been accomplished. The two balls have their own specific characteristics. The TP Red has a larger core size that gives the ball a slightly higher spin rate and lower launch angle off the driver. The thinner mantle depth promotes a lower, tour-like launch angle off the irons and the combination provides a slightly softer impact response. The smaller core size in the TP Black provides longer carry off the driver and irons and the combination has a slightly firmer sound and feel than the TP Red. Visit www.tmag.com.
